Mamba Mentality is Kobe’s greatest gift to the world. It’s not just a feeling reserved for the select few. It’s something all of us have. Our job was is to help future generations recognize that same hunger, motivation, and desire within themselves. Over the campagin we inspired the next generation and displayed how Mamba mentality has left its mark on the athletes* of today.
We created brand impact in the marketplace and inspire the next generation of athletes* across the globe through a series of short films that represented each pillar of Mamba Mentality that rolled out through broadcast, social, and Nike owned channels. We also executed a large OOH executions in NY and LA that was powered by iconic stills of Kobe and our everyday athletes from the campaign.
In result, the 5 vignettes received 50.7 million impression across IG and X and there was a +523% above the benchmark average for plays on IG reels.
